Research Afterwork #6 | "Preserving personal ecology in the exercise of leadership"
We are pleased to invite you to the sixth research afterwork:
Preserving one’s personal ecology in leadership: Challenges and resources
by Tessa Melkonian
📆 The masterclass will take place on Tuesday 20 May at 17:15
📍 at the Lyon campus library
🎯Preserving one’s personal ecology in leadership: Challenges and resources
Recent work on organizational behavior borrows from biology, and more particularly from the ecology of populations, to understand the energy arbitrations faced by individuals at work.
This work suggests a particularly rich model for understanding the increasing intensity of stress, burnout and chronic fatigue among employees.
From the perspective of leadership, Tessa Melkonian will present her work in progress and emphasize the importance of incorporating a body of knowledge from biology and physiology into our teaching and support systems.
