Grid Systems Integration (GSI) is a Business Unit covering the following four segments: High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems (FACTS) like fixed series capacitor or static synchronous compensator, Alternating Current Substations (ACS) and Service. North Europe represents 400+ people, 400M$+ sales per year and 1 B$ orders booked in 2024. Turnkey project / EPC business. P&L responsibility as General Manager.

North Europe countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, UK.

Main customers: Private or public utilities, industries or renewable project developers like BlackRock, EDF Renewables, Energinet, National Grid (NG), Scottish Power, Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), Stattnet, Svenska kraftnät (SVK).

• Accountable for full financial and operational performance of the region.

• Main achievements:
- Created a single large P&L by merging four former entities; built a new executive team.
- Overachieved 300M$ sales objective; increased order intake from 200M$ to 1.4B$.
- Launched a massive resource ramp-up (100 positions) to match market growth.
- Successful negotiations to release high risk in the project portfolio resulting in no penalties.

• Manage project portfolio including the following major contracts (5–6 years execution):
- HVDC link contract with National Grid (EGL1 project) from Scotland to England in 2023. 2GW, ±525 kV, 2 Onshore Converter Stations. South West HVDC Link (Sweden - SVK), IFA HVDC with NG.
- Sofia HVDC Offshore grid connection for RWE. 1,320 MW, ±320 kV.
- NNG (AC Offshore and Onshore) with EDF Renewables UK. Skye project with SSEN for 6 AC substations.

All functions (Construction, Commercial Operations, Contract Mngt, EHS, Engineering, HVDC Project Directors, PMO & Risk, Procurement & Logistics, Project Control, Project Mngt, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Services, Sourcing, Tendering) reporting strong line to me.
