Worked in the Marketing and Business Strategy department for a project on the feasibility of setting up of a new production facility for manufacturing of transformers, a key component in the product offering of TMEIC.
Undertook market research to identify available vendors and accompanied in vendor audit of an existing vendor. Communicated with Business Unit heads to understand their perspectives and gain insights to add to the feasibility report.
Prepared a SWOT analysis on the basis of data and insights gathered. Conferred with the Managing Director in understanding the factors that could positively influence the outcome of the report.

Worked in the petrochem division of Reliance Industries, one of the largest conglomerates in India. Involved in an M&A project wherein the company was looking to vertically integrate a product line for which they are the largest supplier in the country.
Undertook a thorough study of the BOPP and BOPET market (plastic films) and compiled a detailed database of certain target companies.
Discussed financial statements of the companies with my manager and provided my insights which allowed them to broaden the scope of the project to include foreign companies as well.

Involved in a project with the Corporate Strategic Planning department at the headquarters of TDK Electronics, a Japanese multinational company which is one of the world’s largest manufacturer of passive electronic components.
Pivotal in the implementation of the global M&A database. Performed screening of potential M&A targets in line with the strategy of the company.
Actively participated in strategic dialogues between the company and the vendor of the database software in order to customize the database according to specific, purpose-driven needs.
Regularly conferred with the top management and participated in implementation of strategic objectives while providing fresh perspectives.
