Method and device for preparing and washing biofilms for analysis. This non-aggressive and non-destructive washing technique preserves the integrity of the biofilms. It allows the in-depth study of newly formed (native) or mature biofilms, by qualifying and quantifying the living bacteria making up the biofilm. It constitutes the ideal basis for an analysis of biofilms in various fields, from health to the food industry, whether of bacterial, fungal or algal origin.
