The emlyon alumni network proudly celebrates the recognition of four graduates in the 2025 edition of the Institut Choiseul’s Choiseul 100 Africa.

Published annually, this prestigious ranking highlights the 100 economic leaders under 40 who are shaping Africa’s economic transformation through innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic leadership across the continent.

The presence of these four alumni reflects the growing influence of emlyon graduates within Africa’s key sectors—from public policy and investment banking to media and entrepreneurship.


Alumni shaping Africa’s economic transformation

Amine Belhaj Soulami (PGE 2013)

Chief of Staff, Ministry of Industry and Trade – Morocco

With strong expertise in industrial strategy and public policy, Amine Belhaj Soulami plays a key role in supporting Morocco’s economic and commercial transformation. As Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, he contributes to the implementation of policies aimed at strengthening the country’s attractiveness and fostering the emergence of a competitive industrial ecosystem.

Yacine Alao (MSc 2012)

Managing Director, GVA Benin & Canal+ Benin

A recognized leader in the media and entertainment industry, Yacine Alao heads Canal+ Benin and contributes to the group’s expansion strategy across Africa. Under her leadership, the company continues to strengthen its local presence by developing tailored content and deploying innovative solutions to broaden access to information and entertainment.

Christelle Azizet (MSc 2018)

Founder, Grow Up Markets

Entrepreneur and consultant, Christelle Azizet founded Grow Up Markets, a firm dedicated to supporting organizations in their strategic development across African markets. Through her work, she contributes to strengthening business growth strategies and fostering economic opportunities on the continent.

Ernest Pouhe (MSc 2017)

Managing Director, Attijari Securities Central Africa

As Managing Director of Attijari Securities Central Africa, Ernest Pouhe plays a key role in the development of investment banking activities in Central Africa. His work supports the structuring of financial markets and the financing of economic growth in the region.
