Patrick Eisenchteter (PGE 89) appointed Chairman of the emlyon Foundation
The emlyon Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Eisenchteter as its new Chairman. Appointed this Wednesday, June 18, following a meeting of the Board of Directors, his appointment marks a significant step forward for the Foundation, which continues to work towards the development of social impact and equal opportunities.
He succeeds outgoing Chairman Philippe Klocanas, whom we warmly thank for his unwavering commitment and decisive action in developing the Foundation's social impact. Philippe Klocanas will continue to support the Foundation as Honorary Chairman.
Patrick Eisenchteter graduated from the Grande École program in 1989, and is a former member of the Le Petit Paumé student association. He is co-founder of Motion Equity Partners, an independent private equity firm based in Paris. With a long career in private equity and mergers & acquisitions, he began at Arthur Andersen in New York and then Paris, before moving on to Lazard, Europ@Web, and finally creating Motion Equity Partners.
Patrick is deeply attached to the mission of the school and the transmission of knowledge, and is a parent and major donor to the Foundation. He fully embodies the values of solidarity and commitment: two of the 12 members of the investment team are emlyon graduates, including a former Foundation scholarship holder.
His appointment as head of the Foundation marks a new stage for emlyon, driven by a strong commitment to equal opportunities, academic excellence and the influence of the School.
We offer Patrick Eisenchteter our sincere congratulations and wish him every success in his new role.
