Vincent Leroux (MBA 2004): new president of the emlyon alumni association

The members of the board of directors of the emlyon alumni association have elected a new executive committee. Vincent Leroux, a 2004 MBA graduate, has been appointed President for the remaining two years of his term.

🌍 An international career

A mechanical engineer by training and a businessman by passion, Vincent Leroux has always cultivated a desire to broaden his horizons. After eight years as an expatriate in Canada and Germany, he decided to give a new twist to his career by joining the International MBA program at emlyon business school in 2003-2004. This decisive experience took him from the world of engineering to that of management.

Today, he is Executive Vice President of GMM Pfaudler International, a listed industrial group with sales of several hundred million dollars, and over 20 production sites worldwide.

🦁A growing commitment to the emlyon network

For over 15 years, Vincent Leroux has been a key player in the emlyon alumni network. Co-founder, former president and treasurer of the emlyon Business Angels Club, he has made a major contribution to spreading the network's entrepreneurial spirit. Today, he remains a pillar of this club affiliated to Lyon Métropole Angels, of which he is treasurer, while sitting on the boards of other startups in which he invests.

🤝 A clear mission: to create an active, useful and supportive network

At a time when networks play a decisive role in career paths, emlyon alumni is asserting its mission: to encourage mutual support between graduates, develop lasting links and strengthen the feeling of belonging to a dynamic and committed community. The aim is clear: to enable all alumni to draw on a solid network, both at key moments in their careers and in building enriching human and professional relationships.

The association also positions itself as a partner of the École. It participates in the school's governance - through the Supervisory Board and the emlyon Foundation - and helps to define the school's network development policy. Each year, an action plan is formalized jointly with the School, in order to meet graduates' expectations and strengthen the network's influence.
