An Unforgettable Day: 60th Anniversary of the 1965 ESCL PromotionWednesday, May 14, 2025 will be remembered as an exceptional day for graduates of the ESCL 1965 class (PGE65 class). Sixty years after they left school, 14 former students – some of them accompanied by their spouses – met with emotion and enthusiasm to celebrate this great human adventure that has united them for so many years.
An inspiring discovery of the emlyon campus
The day began with a guided tour of the new emlyon campus, orchestrated by Delphine Rome, head of emlyon alumni career. Located at 144, avenue Jean-Jaurès in Lyon, this modern and welcoming place embodies the continuous transformation of the school. Our alumni have discovered the emblematic spaces of this new address: the library, the impressive «beating heart», the Makers Lab, the amphitheatre, the state-of-the-art classrooms...
But beyond the walls, it is the meetings that have marked the minds. The passing of the class aroused the curiosity and admiration of the students crossed on their way. These spontaneous and intergenerational exchanges were rich in emotions, mixing memories of yesterday and hopes for tomorrow.
A Lunch of Joy and Memories
It was then around a convivial lunch, at the Argenson Restaurant (40, Allée Pierre de Coubertin), that memories flocked. Tasty anecdotes, stories of impressive journeys and bursts of laughter punctuated this warm moment. Each exchange reflected a deep attachment to the school, and a precious friendship born on the benches of the ESCL six decades ago.
A Beautiful Moment of TransmissionThis 60th anniversary was more than just a reunion of alumni. He incarnated the emlyon spirit in what is strongest: transmission, fidelity and the strength of the bond that unites generations of graduates. The commitment of the 1965 class is a real source of inspiration, both for the young people and for the community as a whole.
We hope that everyone leaves with a heart full of joy... and already the desire to meet for future celebrations, just as memorable.
